On Saturday the 28th May we saw New Milton celebrate the sound and vision of the late great David Bowie at the Memorial Centre with the mighty Aladdinsane.
People as far as Havant and Newbrury travelled to the Memorial Centre to see this fantastic band, alongside many locals. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and fuelled by the passion for David Bowie, which reflected in the frontman Paul Henderson’s performance.
Aladdinsane played a varied set with hits for everyone, throwing in less known versions off ‘The Man Who Sold The World’ along with all the great 70’s tunes such as ‘Rebel Rebel’ and ‘Ziggy Stardust’.
A truly magical evening was received by both the audience and the band; with hopes to return to the New Milton Memorial Centre in 2017 – this Bowie tribute is one not to be missed.
